Live Naturally Magazine App

An extension of Live Naturally Magazine to help readers find creative recipes to shop or share with family and friends. Updated bimonthly with new recipes featured in the print magazine.
Summary
The Live Naturally app is designed to make finding recipes easier using categories and search capabilities. With coupons and recipes being the most important content for our readers and consumers, I focused the app around those two components.

Shoppable Recipes
We partnered with Whisk to create shoppable recipes straight from our app. I chose to include a button after the ingredients section, without disrupting the flow of the recipe but giving the reader the option to shop. The readers can then shop through either Kroger or Instacart.
Advertiser Coupons
Coupons are one of the most popular aspects of the magazine. By including them in the app, it eliminates the use of paper through printing and is easily accessible to scan through a customers phone. I chose to give recipes their own section within the navigation to make it quick and easy to find.
Recipe Focused
I designed the app to make it easy to browse all of Live Naturally’s recipes. Including a search and category section within the app helps to guide the user to desired content. The recipes are structured in a simple format making it easy to follow at home when meal planning or when shopping for ingredients in the store.
